If they committed negligent homicide, then they should be punished for it. I’ve often been puzzled by the fact that Ted Kennedy never faced a trial for the incident with Mary Jo. Wasn’t that a case of negligent homicide?

He has yet to face a trial, and you know as well as I do that Murtha proclaimed at the top of his lungs for the media that these Marines went on a rampage and wantonly murdered for the purpose of revenge. So much for THAT claim. Where is he to apologize? Murtha claimed knowledge he did not have and tried to influence public opinion for political purposes. The facts are that at least 10 of the dead Iraqis were armed and fighting back, the fact is not one of the Marines has been recommended for murder charges. Murtha was a liar and a political hack. A disgrace to the Marine Corps.

Lets not forget at least one General has already testified in the investigation for the charges that these Marines were justified in their actions and were following the rules of engagement. Yet Murtha knew better? Come on where is he?

I mean it breaks my heart to think that Marines would do this. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident.
