It's not half as competitive! I haven't watched Ladies FS since Russia kicked out of Int'l Events!

No doubt about it! The ladies' comp. hasn't been this weak in yrs.! Our girls are ok here in the US, but shouldn't be anywhere near the top rung! Alysa retired & came back for Gawd-sake! What does that say about the level of comp. here & Internationally w/o Russia pushing the limits of the sport? Japan's doing their part, but we need the Russians back! I really haven't been a serious viewer snce the days of Plushenko, but that was when the men's tour was weak! He was not about to lose to anyone for a good many yrs.! How he got Silver in Vancouver in 2010 just proved how corrupt the sport could be! To repeat as OGM, he just needed to throw in a double Axel according to the scoring! Evgeny's landings were shaky at best, sometimes w/ a bounce! Even w/ his quad, it wasn't really enuf to overcome Evan Lysacek! End Rant, but could go on thru Hanyu & Chen!

Without Russia any Olympics don't mean a damn thing because they were always a big medal winner, so any athlete winning a medal now will never know if they really are the best.

More succinctly, banning Russia from Olympics only hurts the athletes, is costs Putin not one skin cell off his nose.

It isn't the athletes of Russia who have wronged Ukraine or killed millions, it is the government of Russia.
