Thing is, it's not about Democrats. It's about Democrats AND Republicans.
The two of them together rule, crime exists all over, Democrats are most likely to rule in places with more poverty, hence more crime. It's not about Democratic policies.
But nothing will change with the current system, you want change, you want to change the electoral system.
However I get the feeling a lot of partisans like you don't want change. They like the problems, they killing, the poverty... it's what keeps you entertained and you partisans are too lazy to find out better ways.
