When you think of civil rights and racial equality, which party comes to mind?

Silence Canadian kook. Only after Trump annexes your third world nation and you folks are properly civilized will your opinion matter here.

You're never going to annex Canada because all of your troops are the products of an American education. They can't even find Canada on a map.

Afraid it is as MAGA fights to reverse civil rights legislation, DEI, revoke birthright citizenship, Affirmative Action

DEI is anti-white discrimination, it is the opposite of civil rights.

You know that. That is why you support it.

Only anti-white if you want all high level positions to go to whites and don’t care if everyone gets an opportunity

One educated black woman, in thousands. One who voted for Donald Trump in 2016.

I have no respect for ANY woman of any colour who voted for Donald Trump - ever.
The usual whining from the left that a Black women isn't acting the way the Democratic Party demands of minorities. How dare she have any other thought than what is allowed.

Why should one group get to gerrymander legally and others not be able to?

DEI is racism, revoking birthright citizenship puts us in line with plenty of other countries, and AA is also racism.

Nope. You are lying now. DEI is about picking people based on skin color, not merit.

Your assumption that only whtie people have merit, is... yours, not mine.

Believe it or not, 50 years ago there used to be liberals in the Republican Party and they worked hard for Cicil Rights, Healthcare, Public Programs

Since then, they have embraced the Confederacy, rolled back Civil Rights and programs that help the environment, women’s rights and worker protections
Thinking one party is better than other is
ridiculous. The proof the two criminal gangs are one on most issues is overwhelming.

The Republicans in Texas in 50/60s were always for equal rights. That ******* Lyndon Johnson (Dem) was the most racist President besides Harry Truman the US ever had

I don't really think Truman is #1, but I am going to nominate Woodrow Wilson to be up there.

The old parties switched sides myth that has been debunked so many times I don't see how you loons can even mention it without being embarrassed.

Nice little article debunking the myth. You probably won't read it.

"And here’s the proof: Southern whites are far more likely to vote for a black conservative, like Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, than a white liberal"

I do not need a video to determine my thoughts. For quite a few years the impression the Democrats give off is that blacks are mentally challenged and that we whites know what's best for them. The Republicans view them as individuals similar to whites, as in MLK words to be judged not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

And that is how you justify depriving white men of jobs that they would get, if not for their white skin.

You are openly supporting anti-white racist discrimination, and you think that some shit talk, will make that...ok? not real? Hidden?

Who teh **** cares. You people need stopped.
Providing opportunity to everyone means you no longer get to reserve all positions for white males

I think of the coalition of Northern Republicans and Northern Democrats whose landmark legislation and cases ushered in the Civil Right Era, and forced the end of the Jim Crow Era.

Which party has been actively reversing the gains the Civil Rights movement achieved? Which party is actively reviving the sentiments of the Jim Crow Era
