If you study history, what you will find is a steady dose of continuous genocide and infanticide as human nature naturally gravitates that way. Unfortunately, there has never really been a time when genocide/infanticide was not part of human affairs.

In ancient times, pagan religions were known sacrificing their children to the gods all over the world throughout time for things like prosperity better crops and victory at war, etc. Today, they are no different as the vast majority of women murder their infants all in the name of economic feasibility.
