Jamaican who was saved from deportation by BA passengers is a violent drug dealer

A Jamaican gangster spared deportation when passengers on a British Airways flight led a revolt, has been identified as a violent drug dealer jailed for his role in a gun battle on the streets of Birmingham.

This dude was due to be kicked out of the UK for fighting in a gun battle, among other things that everyone should want him out of the UK for, but the passengers on the flight staged a protest and the flight didn't take off.

Why, oh why, would anyone do anything so stupid. Ignorance is bliss, but it means you do stupid things.
