Actually, not amazing at all. Very predictable.
Given Political Chics unflinching support of Hitler, it seems natural she would admire Putin

Why are so many Africans still coming to the U.S.? Asians? Indians? Et cetera. Why so many Black people from the Caribbean islands?

Are they not aware that this is a racist, bigoted country? And dangit, why are they doing so much better economically than African-Americans who were born here? Aren't American racists and bigots smart enough to know that they are PEOPLE OF COLOR, and should be shunned?

This is a real puzzle.

Because the USA bills itself to the world as "The land of opportunity", and the home of "Truth, Justice and the American Way". And because where they are is poor, and/or dangerous.

And because once you get inside the country, it's very, very easy to find work and stay. You keep worrying about the Southern Border, but 60% of illegal immigration is people coming to the USA and overstaying their visas. That's because you don't prosecute employers.

The USA is the only First World country in the world, where, if you can get in, you can find work and stay. The Republican Party refuses to prosecute employers. In Canada, we ONLY go after the employers. We have 30,000 illegal immigrants in the whole country. Total. That would be like 300,000 in the USA. You have, what, 11 million?

Other first world countries are similar. You don't need a wall, you just need to arrest and fine the employers and stop them from feeding the strays.

I don't engage with that slime.

He is not only the most prodigious liar on the board, but represents the genocidal attitude of all of is Nazi and Bolshevik predecessors.

When I pointed out that his antecedents, the communists, slaughtered 100 million men, women and children.....he sneered at the deaths this way:

"Sure it wasn't 100 billion?"

That's when Critical Race Theory, the 1619 Project, are inserted as history, and hatred of the society with the greatest opportunity and freedom are foisted on our children.

1. As soon as the Mueller Report destroyed the Left’s ‘Russia Collusion’ defamation, Democrats produced this attack on America: slavery was the reason for America’s greatness: The NYTimes replaced one lie...Russia Collusion.....with another lie.....America is racist.

“[NYTimes Editor] Baquet’s new editorial direction was going to be based on what he called, “The 1619 Project.” This project was previewed by Times editorial board member Mara Gay in the following words: “In the days and weeks to come, we will publish essays demonstrating that nearly everything that has made America exceptional grew out of slavery.” Watch: The Times Presents the #1619Project

“It aims to reframe the country’s history, understanding 1619 as our true founding, and placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are.”
Why We Published The 1619 Project

The project puts the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the center of our national story.

2. “Anti-white racism is also seeping into history lessons, most notably through the curriculum adapted from the New York Times’ 1619 Project.

The lead article for the 1619 Project is by Nikole Hannah-Jones, who has been writing anti-white screeds at least since she was a college sophomore. In a letter to her college paper, she alleged: “The white race is the biggest murderer, rapist, pillager, and thief of the modern world.” Not only were the white people in America’s past “barbaric devils,” but the “descendants of these savage people” continue to harm “the Black community” to this day. Non-white peoples, by contrast, were uniformly portrayed as both virtuous and victimized.” It’s Time to Acknowledge Anti-White Racism

The equating of skin color, rather than behavior, with evil……sounds particularly Democrat. They’ve been doing it for centuries.

3. 1619 Project Creator Admits “It Is Not A History” But a Fight “to Control the National Narrative”

Critic: 1619 Project trying to have it both ways, “it’s presented as “history” when convenient, to give it credibility (as in the curriculum description) but deemed non-history when its lack of historical rigor has been challenged.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) thrust the New York Times‘ 1619 Project back into the spotlight when he threatened to defund schools that use it in the curriculum.

The discussion led creator Hannah Jones to admit the 1619 Project is not history, but a “work of journalism.”

The 1619 Project leads one to believe the founding of America happened in 1619 when the first slave ship arrived in Virginia. The introduction states: “No aspect of the country that would be formed here has been untouched by the years of slavery that followed.” The beginning explains:

The 1619 Project is an ongoing initiative from The New York Times Magazine that began in August 2019, the 400th anniversary of the beginning of American slavery. It aims to reframe the country’s history by placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of our national narrative.

…. her pet project is a work of fiction.

Even if Jones wanted the 1619 Project to be a “work in journalism” she chose the wrong term. Journalism, like history, should report the truth. Not your truth. Not alternative facts.”

This is the educational version of a saying attributed to Lenin: ‘When time comes to hang the capitalists, the Capitalists themselves will sell the rope for that.’

We mandate our children into a government school system that cannot be trusted.

Excellent post as always. The interesting thing about the 1619 Project is that even it's initial assertion is wrong. I researched for three years and wrote a novel about the Jamestown Founding. (It is available at Amazon and fine booksellers everywhere). :). The River of Pearl and Gold: A Story of Jamestown.

The first Africans that arrived at Jamestown in 1619 were not slaves. Under British Law at the time Christians could not be enslaved. The Dutch traders that brought the Africans to Jamestown knew this and baptized them prior to landing.

The blacks that arrived had a higher legal status than most of the whites who were legally "indentured servants." Indentured servants were basically slaves for seven years. They would get their freedom after 7 years if they survived. 90% died.

What we know as chattel slavery slowly came into legal existence by the 1650's. So even the initial premise of the 1619 Project is wrong. Poor commie Dims, they can't get anything right. :D

Its a shame that slavery has existed since the dawn of recorded history and still exists in parts of Africa. I guess some people never learn. :(

It comes from people that are exaggerating the situation for political purposes which I don't understand they are part of the political party that kept slavery and oppression alive in the US.

If you believe Joe Biden is a Chinese Agent, you are both gullible AND stupid. But of course, we already knew that.

Again, these are foreign propaganda lies. On more than one occasion, you have to Pravda or other Russian publications, in the past to support your bullshit.

Here's an interesting supposition by Professor Jason Hill
He believes that slavery was an assumed way of life for those who did not have the Judeo-Christian view, from Genesis, that we were made to be free.

The recent thought-provoking book by Professor Jason D. Hill compares the peoples on the continent of Africa with the Europeans for the purpose of explaining the willful acceptance of slavery by both the former and the latter. It was not that the Africans didn’t have the technology or the weapons to resist slavery imposed on them……it was that they saw no problem with the condition. It was European’s advancement, due to concepts derived from religion, right and wrong, justice, the importance of each human life, that had moved the European from a customization with such a condition.

1648063599470.png

.Professor Hill writes:

“We must remember that the beginning of African chattel slavery preceded all ideas of race as biological typology and the racism distinctly associated with them. These did not appear in Western culture before the eighteenth century.

In the nineteenth century, German philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel noted in his magisterial work, Lectures on the Philosophy of World History, that slavery itself was a necessary stage in historical development made possible by the African indigenes themselves. He notes that, lacking any conception of justice or right, the African evinces a “complete contempt for man and a respect for life itself.”

He goes on to say that “slavery is the basic legal relationship in Africa,” a place where the distinction between master and slave is completely endemic and accepted as natural. For Hegel, in a culture where human life has little or no value, the enslavement of Africans by Europeans is at least partially necessary on the premise that it can educate the African to have consciousness of his freedom.” Jason D. Hill, “What Do White Americans Owe Black People.”

There are three reasons that explain treason against one's country.
Ideology
Sex
Money

I don't beleive the Biden Crime Family has the intellect for the first....nor do you....but the other two fit fine.

Biden received funds from top Russia lobbyist before Nord Stream 2 giveaway

President Biden and his allies raked in campaign cash from a top Russia lobbyist in 2020, just months before his administration’s decision to scrap sanctions on a controversial firm building a Russian oil pipeline to Germany.

Richard Burt, a managing partner at McLarty Associates and a former US ambassador to Germany during the Reagan administration, ponied up $4,000 for Joe Biden in October 2020 and dropped another $10,000 in the lefty-aligned political action committee Unite The County in March 2020, FEC records show.

In addition to violating Biden’s own campaign pledge not to take lobbyist cash, the money from Burt is particularly noteworthy as he is currently directly engaged in lobbying activities for Nord Stream 2 AG. Biden received funds from top Russia lobbyist before Nord Stream 2 giveaway

========================================================

Biden and Co. follow the money from China

…President Biden sends someone like former Sen. Chris Dodd to Taiwan as a “personal signal” of support in the face of invasion threats by China, you know the game is over.

Dodd was one of the late Ted Kennedy’s partying buddies, known for his part in a Kennedy “waitress sandwich” years ago at a swanky Washington restaurant.

Dodd is currently on a trip to Taiwan with two other former State Department officials, reportedly traveling to Taiwan as an unofficial delegation at President Biden’s request.

If the Chinese, who claim the island as part of China, were intimidated, they sure did not show it. Instead, they sent scores of war planes in and around Taiwan air space to intimidate Taiwan.

The expansionist Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China is flexing its muscles and it is only a matter of time before it annexes Taiwan, one way or another.

Depending on Biden to come to the aid of Taiwan, which we have supported for years, is futile.

Biden and his family, like many other Americans and American institutions, have been so compromised by Chinese money that they can’t think or speak straight.

In 2014, when then Vice President Biden was in Beijing meeting with China’s Xi Jinping, his son Hunter came away with a $1.5 billion investment in his Rosemont Seneca Partners firm from the Chinese government, according to a report by Peter Schweizer in his 2018 book “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.”

Practically everything in America is for sale these days, including its valuable farmland, which the Chinese are buying up at an alarming rate, even though it is not widely reported in the left-leaning U.S. press. And that is because much of the media, like the Bidens, is also beholden to China. Lucas: Biden and Co. follow the money from China

=====================================================

Now....what is it that makes Hunter Biden, crack-addict, ne'er-do-well, with no experience in gas or oil, kicked out of the Navy, never visited the Ukraine....worth millions and billions?

Interesting that when Biden was VP, he and his son Hunter went to deal with China, and Hunter came away with $millions.....

But Trump is immune to the bribes.

"The troubling reason why Biden is so soft on China
In 2013, then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Less than two weeks later, Hunter Biden’s firm inked a $1 billion private equity deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. The deal was later expanded to $1.5 billion. In short, the Chinese government funded a business that it co-owned along with the son of a sitting vice president."
The troubling reason why Biden is so soft on China

Sounds a lot like the $145 million Putin gave the Clintons.

Thanks. It is a bit unclear when chattel slavery became fully legal. I have read many of the source documents from the early Virginia House of Burgesses. The guess is somewhere between the mid 1650's to early 1660's. Some blacks did become indentured servants by choice, for the promise of eventually getting land. But in reality they had no defined legal status.

It is still highly ironic that the 1619 Project does not know or understand a basic fact of history. Blacks were not slaves when they arrived in 1619. It took decades before that happened and became a legal reality.
