Anything was possible in those drug-filled days. I believe this most likely did happen. Unfortunately, a mix of drugs and alcohol (more than likely) killed Jimi. He supposedly choked to death on his vomit. What a sad way to go for possibly THE greatest and most innovative guitarist ever.
