I happen to have a huge, powerful V-8 engine. It gets 8 miles a gallon. Till you start it, then it goes down.

I somewhat agree with your first statement except for the fact that America being a melting pot means there is no set “American Culture” the “culture” is a mash of many, always evolving…. Hence the melting pot.

Identity politics (special rights for special people), is the opposite of equal rights for all.

When you have a system that spent generations oppressing specific people then special rights are warranted to rectify the imbalance of Justice and opportunity.

When current systems are set up to favor certain races, sexes, or classes then special measures are warranted to even the playing field. Do you agree?

Nope. You get rid of the discriminatory policies. You don't replace them with discriminatory policies that push in the other direction. Equal rights should be the goal. **** "equity".

Of course you do… if somebody was stuck at the back of the line because the owners of the ride started at discriminatory line that cut in front of them then you let those people jump to the front if you want to rectify the situation. Simply cutting off the discriminatory line doesn’t resolve things
