What's the Gallup Saying ...

Hello:

I always take a quick look at the Gallup poll, just to make myself "happy" in the morning, but then I see there are three tabs. The Third tab says "Likely Voters (Traditional)" and has Obama/McCain statistically tied. Does anyone know the difference between the three?

I cannot post links since I am new, but you can find these polls at gallup(dot)com under the section "Election 2008". The three tabs are across the top of the poll image.

Sorry but you can't see the plank in your eye while pointing out the speck in mine... The video was racist in the title and ALL the way through it.

When you judge someone based on the color of their skin (something they have no control over) your racist.

Couldn't agree more, Angel. Perhaps he didn't like your video because you are a woman, which isn't anything you had a choice over. Could you imagine though, if either Hillary or Palin got in? Black or white we would be in a heap of trouble, no offense to you. This race was a bit too close but I think even women voters could see the trouble with this, having not crossed over because of Palin - so you should get some credit for voting with your head.

"Plumber" Joe brought to surface what we here at USMB have been pointing out for months: Obama wants to redistribute wealth to benefit those that don't work for it. Even working class poor folks don't want that. They like tax cuts, but I promise you the single mom working 60 hours a week to make end's meat doesn't give two fucks about her neighbor who draws food stamps and welfare and sits on her ass all day.

I have to agree with liberals on one thing though. This election may see a lot of people vote that normally do not. I am not so sure how accurate "likely voters" is.

Though I was polled and the three questions were

1. Who would I most likely support, McCain or Obama with a spread of words to describe my support.

2. Was I likely to vote with again a spread of words to describe the chance.

3. Would I likely vote for the person I supported. Again with the spread of words.
