No it doesn't, you just don't seem to get that when numbers are first reported they are just INITIAL ESTIMATES, subject to change when more data comes in over the following two months.Which justifies any skepticism of the numbers.
When something very unusual happens in the economy (like Trump's "liberation day" announcement of huge across the board tariffs) then some underlying assumptions about economy may not pan out and initial estimates may be more off than usual.
