What would happen in the states if we lost the internet...

I can't speak for everyone else but I would be ok.

I'd be annoyed for a couple weeks as I am used to the internet. But I also predate the internet and I grew up on a farm. I want the internet but I don't need it. I know how to write checks and mail them, I can call people on the phone, I can go outside, play games, watch movies without internet, cook out, and so on.

But these kids would fall apart that I watched in recent years constantly with phone in hand. Even 5 year olds sitting in a restaurant with a phone in their hands. 2 generations incapable of being anything but their internet persona. all these companies with no redundancy or ability to do simple stuff without the internet. It would be a cluster fuck.

It won't be the next phone generation but it will be the one after.
Phone will be inserted at birth and any parts of the brain that might resist will be removed.
OK, so the latter part is already being done in blue states big-cities.
