Something just dawned on me. The one thing that would cause Trump supporters to stop buying his lies and stop their support of him on a dime.
I know he's not going to do it. He's found his niche with the RNC. But let's consider one very important aspect of Trump. Something that his die hard supporters would never consider. According to Trumps actual record, he's nothing more than a north eastern democrat. He's done so much to help advance the democrat party, that I simply don't understand why
1. He still has right leaning support.
2. Why the democrats haven't recruited him to the DNC.
The one thing that would cause his supporters to drop him, would be to join the ranks of the DNC. A place where Trump would be better suited. Let's look at the facts.
A democrat would support the following (if it was a democrat doing it)
1. The Platinum Plan. Giving $500 BILLION to black communities, just because they're black communities.
2. Funding Planned Parenthood, just after they'd been caught selling baby parts and still performing abortions.
3. 2 debt ceiling increases and one 2yr suspension.
4. Assaulting our 2A with a bump stock ban. Now I realize most people didn't have bump stocks. But now, you can't even put something as simple as that on your gun because Trump banned it.
4. Only vetoing one spending bill in 4 years. Meaning he spent almost as much in 4 years as Obama spent in 8.
5. Funding gender studies in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
6. Reauthorizing FISA (702). Which allows the government to spy on Americans without a warrant.
7. The placement of the border wall. Cutting Americans off from the Rio Grande. Especially the land owners.
8. Lied about going after Hillary. (Biden and Obama both would not go after Hillary) She's the one that instigated the whole Russian collusion scandal. Why TF would Trump give her a pass on that if he himself wasn't left leaning?
I could list more. But I do need to say this

The above list has been hashed out and rehashed 1000 times here. So the point isn't so much about anything on that list. But the entire list as one issue, Trumps actual record of doing & supporting some very liberal things. Things that if Trump were a democrat, the right would be screaming bloody murder over. And honestly, they should be. But because Trump is a Republican, they're barely saying a word about any of it.
Another confusing issue with Trumps actual record, is why the left isn't more supportive of Trump. I think it's simply because Trump is tied in with the RNC. If he was a democrat, with that record, he'd be the king of the democrat party, instead of the Republican.
Trump should be, by all accounts and purposes, be a democrat.

Luft is accused of pushing the adviser to support policies favorable to China, including by drafting comments in the adviser's name published in a Chinese newspaper.

Easy Killer. I get your point. I should've just bumped the other thread. It just felt like a different subject. I was leaning towards what makes Trump more of a democrat than a Republican. That's was sort of my mindset when I created it. Not so much the "what would make Trump supporters stop supporting him." <<<See my point? I should've titled it differently. That way the new point would've stood out.
And throw in the fact that there's so many threads, addressing the same issue, I didn't think it would be an issue.
