The problem with the Democratic party is that they do not acknowledge that this election was a self-inflicted wound that could turn into a much more serious problem. They have self-segregated into echo chambers since at least the Nixon years and now they are doubling down on dumb.

Climate change is an acknowledgement that AGW was and is crap because as Poincare demonstrated in the three body problem in the 1800s deterministic is not necessarily predictable. So, when and if, the Democrats join the 20th century they will still be having major problems. Luckily for them the Rs have more or less backed into a 20th century ideology and still are not upto a level of comprehension that they can offer a coherent and consistent of their positions.
