Your post doesn't pass the laugh test - From your link:
Trump left office with a net worth of about $2.5 billion, down from $4.5 billion when he announced his candidacy for president in 2015.
Trump was no. 121 on Forbes's list of wealthiest Americans when he entered office. He saw his net worth fall from $3.1 billion in 2019 to the current $2.5 billion amid an economic recession brought on by government lockdowns that severely hit industries where Trump held many assets.
Multiple entities also cut ties with the former president during the waning days of his administration after he faced accusations of inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
- First of all, he lied when he told us in 2016 that he was worth 10 billion. His actual net worth was less than half of that.
- Second, government lockdowns? Yep, those were necessary due in no small part to his botching the pandemic response.
- Third, yes .. he incited that pesky riot riot which cost him further. Nobody's fault but his own. And now he can't buy a loan. Even Deutsche Bank tossed him under the bus.
So cry me a forking river. His he completely trashed his brand just as he did that half a billion Daddy left him along with spectacular business failures far too many to mention. He grifted off the presidency from the day he descended on his golden elevator until the day he left.
And now he's raised around 150 million out of his MAGA-monkeys for "legal expenses". Probably using that as we speak just to keep the bills paid. So take your sad violin somewhere else my friend.
