He was using voice activated software and his dog and cat got in a fight behind him. As the dog went woof, woof, woof, and the cat went meow, meow, meow, the computer screen started to print How, How, How, Why, Why, Why... - The Dog Says How - Nearly every man in Kevin Kling's extended family for three generations -- including Kling, his father and grandfather -- has been struck by lightning. In "The Dog Says How," a collection of short essays, Kling relates this and sundry other anecdotes from his wide-ranging but deeply rooted Minnesota life.
