Trump said it's part of "the concept" of having this concentration camp in the Everglades, thinking the alligators will help contain any potential escapees. He's, as usual, ignorant of the facts.
"""The chances of a Florida resident being seriously injured in an unprovoked alligator attack are estimated to be one in 3.1 million,..."
We used to live on a lake in Florida with an alligator for many years and all we ever saw of him when we were canoeing was the flash of his tail about 25 feet away after he saw us coming. They are very shy and they prefer ducks and fish for food, rather than humans.
If you've seen the occasional video on FB of an alligator in a neighborhood of houses, it is usually migrating to a new location because its territory has been infringed upon with construction or another alligator invading its space. They don't share territories.
So smirk away, you sick sadistic "emperor", but the alligators aren't going to be your gladiators.
