So now that Ella Cook was just the 15,000th victim of gun violence this year and not the second or third victim of left wing violence or the 30th of right wing violence the right wing outrage machine no longer cares about her death. Her twitter mentions plummeted once the shooter and his motivations became known.

This brings us to account for what the right wing disinformation machine got wrong about the Brown Shooting: EVERYTHING

It's remarkable how badly the RW accounts that ginned up hysteria around the Brown shooting were wrong about everything both on social media and on here.

Most shootings are by blacks in democrat cities. They create 53% of all gun homicide

We aren't talking about "Most homicides", guy, we are talking about this one, where a crazy student shot up his old university.

100% of gun homicides are because someone who shouldn't have a gun had a gun.

The issue of total gun shootings was raised and it needed context. Take the gun away and you still have the killer able to act. You accomplish nothing.
What kind of gun did Timothy McVeigh use or the Boston marathon bombers. Anyone can make a pipe bomb or run people over with a car
Legal guns stop over 1 million violent crimes in any year. CDC

We have no idea what the killer's motivations were.

You really have a very bad habit of making up stories. What's wrong with you?
IN many cases of killings like these suicide is the outcome. There is definitely a mental illness aspect here

What was his motive?

Or that is what they want you to believe. 😐

I have no information to suggest this is wrong but the fact is we don't yet know.

And I'd suggest that there is a mental illness aspect to just about every mass shooting.

Thanks, still waiting on the link to the CDC report as was stated in the post I responded to.

Defensive use of guns by crime victims is a common occurrence, although the exact number remains disputed (Cook and Ludwig, 1996; Kleck, 2001a). Almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals

Since he killed himself thats evidence of mental illness. We dont know why he chose the targets.
Most mass shootings are black gang related. Mental illness is not involved.
School and workplace shootings all involve mental illness. We see PTSD psychosis or antisocial personality(psychopath)

If you doubt the objectivity of the site above, it’s worth pointing out that the Center for Disease Control, in a report ordered by President Obama in 2012 following the Sandy Hook Massacre, estimated that the number of crimes prevented by guns could be even higher—as many as 3 million annually, or some 8,200 every day.

Defensive Use of Guns

Defensive use of guns by crime victims is a common occurrence, although the exact number remains disputed (Cook and Ludwig, 1996; Kleck, 2001a). Almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals, with estimates of annual uses ranging from about 500,000 to more than 3 million (Kleck, 2001a), in the context of about 300,000 violent crimes involving firearms in 2008 (BJS, 2010). On the other hand, some scholars point to a radically lower estimate of only 108,000 annual defensive uses based on the National Crime Victimization Survey (Cook et al., 1997). The variation in these numbers remains a controversy in the field. The estimate of 3 million defensive uses per year is based on an extrapolation from a small number of responses taken from more than 19 national surveys. The former estimate of 108,000 is difficult to interpret because respondents were not asked specifically about defensive gun use.

Thanks for the link. Still nothing about the CDC saying what the person I responded to claimed.
