Thank you. It is difficult for me to understand computer stuff so I'll have to watch the video several times before I "get it". :)

Dude that video is simple. But with all the iranian hackers attacking us right now, I don't recommend it. But you do you.

If you do not have an added "high grade" anti virus program, I would not recommend you to do this, nor to alter your laptops/PC's security settings.

Kruska Today is Monday. I’ll go into town and ask when they open.

If it was me, I'd wipe it and install a fresh OS of some sort.
You know what? You might could get by with uninstalling/reinstalling your browser.
Be sure and save/write down your passwords n stuff if you need to.

You have malware. These "false" warnings that people get like this are notorious. And can be difficult to get rid of without someone who knows what they are doing.

Suggestions -
Go to Add/Remove Programs.
Look for any programs called "Wave Browser" - this has been one of the more common malwares lately. It will also copy itself into random names that have browser as the last word. It might be "Steel Browser" "Lend Browser" - whatever. Remove any program with the word browser - except of course whatever browser you use.

Can't find it? - Do this... the next time you see this message - don't close it - hit ctrl-alt-del and see what processes are running. That window is running in a browser that is not Chrome/Edge etc. It should be towards the top if you click "Memory" tab.
Delete that program.

Oh! I got something like that years ago. It's a wrong browser add-on download.
I would say go into regedit and edit startup things.
The one they did to me was real simple and could be fixed from the desktop on Windows 7. It was under "startup programs".
Either that, or I used task manager and saw the BS program running which doesn't belong, then found the file location and deleted the *.exe and..not inf..hmm..well, we'll let that go for now.
It's a text that tells the thing what to do when it starts up.
*.ini.

It is so much more difficult to find these things anymore. Windows 7 and up have so many freaking programs running that fantastic tools like "HiJackThis.exe" is practically impossible.
HiJackThis is a great tool. I have used it for years. It list every program in your start up - every program, add-on that is running or not that is attached to your browser.
But after Windows 7, my God now with Windows 11 - there are well over 100 applets running. Most are Microsoft being Microsoft. Afterall, not an exaggeration, your computer is a total spy device that sees everything that you do. All of these apps are background processes that catalogs everything in real time. So there are so many to look through, it is like the "needle in a haystack" to find them.

Another great tool is "NoScript" - a browser addon that does not allow your browser to run scripts. But again, virtually all websites now run multiple scripts. So browsing with NoScript is impossible because you will spend your whole time constantly shutting NoScript off, and/or making exceptions. It use to be far better than virus protection, because it doesn't care what script a website is trying to run - it stops them all before they can do anything.
