The ACA was enacted on March 23, 2010. Here are the stock performances of some of the major health insurance companies since then:
Humana (ticker HUM): 275.51%
Cigna (CI): 269.94%
Aetna (AET): 213.37%
United (UNH): 251.85%

The ACA is a massive pig of a law that did NOTHING to address the fact that we STILL have seven (7) different health care delivery payment systems that don't communicate directly with each other, which is horrifically inefficient, beyond absurd and an illustration of how fucked up our political system is.
However, anyone who says that the ACA is anywhere near socialism or socialized medicine has zero (0) idea what they're talking about, and really needs to step away from the radio for a few months.
