It is a tricky situation. Since the U.N has essentially become a vassal for China (China has been expanding its vassal state collection across Europe and elsewhere as they know centralized nations are different from true Republics who believe in freedom and thus they are easy to control) they did not stand up to Iran.

Strongly worded letters and statements do NOTHING. China laughs at them and gaslight you into pretending that the "world order is being challenged", when ultimately it is THEY who altered it, with their European allies.

These words did not prevent N Korea from obtaining nukes, nor China from taking Sprately Islands or Russia from invading Ukraine.

The biggest difference is that Israel takes their survival seriously so they have their military ready to do the job that Europe will not. So, America will lead until it some objective is achieved. Israels government is really not very popular and they have quite a few controversial members so the U.S has to balance this consideration.

Ultimately it must remain that Iran must not have a nuke. This can be said for another 100 countries if we want our species to survive.
