Another who doesn't understand the question.
No attack - you asked the question.
Don't ask questions you really don't want the answer to.

Another who doesn't understand the question.
I expect normal adults to understand reasonable questions and respond accordingly.
Your standard partisan talk radio diatribe of a response was to a question that I didn't ask.You fake 'middle-of-the-road' better than most snowflakes on this board, but the truth always comes through...
...like your becomimg triggered when a normal, rational adult responds to your question by pointing out serious, reported, supported, recorded, inconvevient facts about your beloved authoritarian, fascist, weaponized Democrats, the US govt agencies they control and abuse, and the continuously exposed disinformation and agenda-supporting news.
Just recently the #1 Democrat in the House stood up to oppose a bill presented condemning socialist / fascist authoritarian leaders / dictators and their agendas, stating to sign-on in support of this bill would UNDERMINE THE DEMOCRATS' OWN AGENDA.
By your attempted rebuke of me and my response to your question I am left to assume you would defend him and come after me...again.
As I said, if you don't want a normal, serious, rational adult responds to your question then don't ask for it.
I don't really care if you are triggered by it or not. If you only want the answers you want there's a simple solution - block all the non-snowflakes on the board so they can't answer with truth that offends you.
Start with me.

I don't struggle with any issue.Hoping for an interesting, illuminating conversation here.
The one major issue I struggle the most with is the death penalty. My impulse is to be against the death penalty, because (a) I don't see it as a deterrent, and (b) because I kinda like the idea of letting someone rot for killing someone else. HOWEVER, if someone I love were murdered, I may want that killer to be made dead ASAP. I've never been in that position, so I can't tell how I would react.
What's yours?

This issue has nothing to do with big government. If someone claims to be against "Big Government" this should be a no-brainer and they shouldn't want government anywhere near making these decisions of life and death.
.I'm done dumbing things down for these people.
This was not a complicated question.
Your standard partisan talk radio diatribe of a response was to a question that I didn't ask.
I know this won't matter, but the question was actually about any issues on which you have mixed feelings.
But since your thought processes are so badly calcified, you just took the opportunity to run with the standard talking points.
The question was beyond your capacity. Sorry. That is not my fault.
Are you for it or against it?My only political pet peeve is the legalization of drugs.
Right leave it up to the parties affected, hear hearIf someone claims to be against "Big Government" this should be a no-brainer and they shouldn't want government anywhere near making these decisions of life and death.
If I am being honest, and I am always honest, how in the world have we let our country get to the point it is.Hoping for an interesting, illuminating conversation here.

I used to not struggle with the death penalty at all, just thought that most of them should be fried- and quickly, but fact is that innocent people have been exonerated after being on death row for years, and some have been executed and later found to be innocent, so the system is too flawed for practical use.Hoping for an interesting, illuminating conversation here.

Once proven beyond the shadow of as doubt execute them especially predators of any kind!I used to not struggle with the death penalty at all, just thought that most of them should be fried and quickly, but fact is that innocent people have been exonerated after being on death row, and some have been executed and later found to be innocent, so the system is too flawed for practical use.
I totally flipped on that one after learning that. Clear for me at this point.
We gave Democrats credit for having good intentions. We should have chased them down and shot them.If I am being honest, and I am always honest, how in the world have we let our country get to the point it is.
Yeah, that's pretty much the road I've been on. I'd like to think there's a way we can be 100% sure, and only execute those about whom we're 100% sure, but...I used to not struggle with the death penalty at all, just thought that most of them should be fried- and quickly, but fact is that innocent people have been exonerated after being on death row for years, and some have been executed and later found to be innocent, so the system is too flawed for practical use.

This is the real world, not some leftwing fantasy land. Can you be certain that someone sentenced to life in prison will never get out?Yeah, that's pretty much the road I've been on. I'd like to think there's a way we can be 100% sure, and only execute those about whom we're 100% sure, but...
Yep now we need to start making more rope.We gave Democrats credit for having good intentions. We should have chased them down and shot them.
The number is minute!Problem is, all of the above mentioned were proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
The system is too flawed to go about the business of deciding to kill people.
I want those fuckers dead too, trust me on that, as I have no problem with executing guilty people, zero, but at the expense of executing innocent people, no.
