Republicans still live in the bubble in which Trump prospered, they still remain in their made up media world unaware there are more people in America than their racist, xenophobic base, aka the 'deplorables'. Intellectually honest republicans shake their heads over their party's own creation and a right wing media that when it isn't lying is into conspiratorial nonsense aimed at the gullible. When Trump loses, sadly the same useless party that promoted a clown as their president, will still have much of congress and many states in their incompetent hands. People need to vote in mid-terms and politics needs to be raised up as a noble American job and not a place for partisan ideologues.
"A surefire politics of change would necessarily involve getting people in the middle — from the 30th to the 70th percentile — to see their own economic self-interest. If they vote in their own self-interest, they’ll elect people who are likely to be more aligned with people with lower incomes as well as with them. As long as people in the middle identify more with people on the top than with those on the bottom, we are doomed. The obscene amount of money flowing into the electoral process makes things harder yet." Peter Edelman http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/29/opinion/sunday/why-cant-we-end-poverty-in-america.html

I can't believe you are STILL reading the NYT. It's a shit rag meant to control your thoughts. It isn't worth the paper it is written on.
