The Christians in my social circle were 100% genuine and good people. Even today I feel like the Christians I grew up around were not faking. Nobody really piqued my curiosity. The biggest church scandal I experienced was a pastor saying that God told him to leave the church but after talking to his wife he decided to stay. He ended up staying and many viewed that as the pastor listening to his wife instead of listening to God. Some left the church. I never seen anything that was worthy of jail time, anybody stealing, or acting inappropriate sexually. So perhaps my religious world was too perfect to invoke questioning.
They're good people but it's always easy to cause them to be bad people. The more intelligent they are, the easier it becomes to control their mood.
The stupid ones just remain stubborn and stupid.
Our Ding is an example of a more intelligent one. He's simply haunted with the facts on his bible being allegorical bullsh-t and not the word of his god. But he can't go back to being a literal believer in the bible because he understands that would be lying to himself.
How can ding handle the contradiction that has become his entire life?
Just watch him demonstrate how he tries to handle the issues!

Ding is not the kind of Christian I grew up around. The ones I knew were the ignorant ones. They believed in God, Jesus, the Bible, and Christianity because it was true. (Ding passionately hates the Bible with ever fiber of his being.) I'm not saying it was true. I'm saying that was their rationale behind it. They never felt under any obligation to prove their faith. They just believed. I never seen authority abused. Perhaps my environment didn't have access to unscrupulous leaders or behind the scenes evil minded leaders were being "handled". My point is that I never seen anything bad come from the Christians I knew. I had no motive to question it.

It wasn't until I was about 21. But I'm an Agnostic.
Ding doesn't hate the bible. He doesn't hate himself either, but he's always going to be uncomfortable about his understanding of his bible being full of lies and contradictions.
And you? You're doing far too much seening when you should be sawing. Which serves to show everybody that no bible lies are going to concern you at all.
That makes you one of the more fortunate Christians who will never be troubled with Satanic thoughts!

That word is a pet peeve of mine. You are an atheist that doesn't want to have a discussion. The word agnostic is full blown armor and guarantees you win every single argument without ever having one. Dude, you are an atheist.

I can discuss it more than you can but that's the problem ...... you can't.
Arguements are for Theists and Atheists. If your mind could grasp the meaning of Agnosticism you would have already understood that ..... but you don't. I am sure I could explain to you that non-belief ≠disbelief but would you understand it? No, I am sure you wouldn't because you already don't as you are sitting in front of your computer at this very moment.
Are you maybe illiterate? I AM AN AGNOSTIC.
