Reports are Trump did not listen to his generals warning about going to war. They predicted much of this could happen. Trump said no, the citizens will rise up and take control.

Now our military must do their best to implement a flawed plan Trump has put forward.

To answer that question, first you have to understand what the war is about. To Trump it is about ending all the threats the ayatollahs present to the world without laying waste to the civilian infrastructure of Iran and without allowing this war to destabilize Pakistan, a nuclear power that nearly launched its nukes in the last conflict with India.

Since the goal is to achieve all three of these things, I don't see how he can do any better.
