What is this and how do I get out of it?

I am used to what I think of as the standard USMB "face" but suddenly a few days ago I ended up with this:


No place to click on my name to sign out as it used to be. How can I get back to the original?

click the "lightning bolt" and your screen will brighten up. then the "light bulb" icon that takes you back to the dark will show

Hi! When I click on the "lightening bolt" it only shows what's new. No other change or "light bulb" to be seen.

Only lightning bolt I get is by 'New Posts', when I log on. Where your bolt is I have a light bulb.

Are you on a PC or a tablet or phone? Get a real PC and avoid all the crappy software written in some abandoned container in Mumbai or wherever.

Ha-ha! No, I have a real PC. BTW, the way it is now I cannot "log out" at all!

Those three parallel lines in the top left hand corner. That usually means other options. I get "Log Out" on other sites when i use that one. Maybe??

Under preferences you have the style option. Normally your avatar is to the left of the envelope when signed in. Click on that avatar , click preferences, click on the two little triangles (up/down) to the right of style, select the one you want and then hit save further down.

Hi! OK, the three parallel lines brought me to a lot of options. One of them is the "light bulb"! Yeah! So that part is now fixed. But I still don't have the option to "log out". This is what I get now:

Normally, my name (avatar) should be in the top line and by clicking on it there would be the option to sign out.

I just checked, my avatar appears on every style. I would either try clearing cookies and resigning in

Go to the main home page, scroll to the very end, on the left hand side there is a spot telling you, what screen display you are using, mine says Old Usmb V2 or something like that....

Click on it, and a drop down will appear, with choices of screen displays you can use.

Nothing happens.

It looks like you are in full screen mode and zoomed way in. You could try pressing F11 to exit full screen mode. Then reset your zoom settings on your browser to 100%.
