What is the fastest animal on the planet?

Here is some trivia for the day. And no, it's not a cheetah.

Gee, one could really play a cruel trick on these birds and sit a few rebar-reinforced stone ducks around, then just wait for the falcon to strike it at 180 mph.

I grew up in a tough neighborhood. It was so tough that we used to tape worms to the side walk and watch birds get hernias...

Not sure if it’s the fastest animal on the planet but the fastest reaction time ever recorded was a trump supporter screaming he was a victim after an innocuous comment. The feat has been replicated 100,000,000,0000,000 times in the last 10 years.

When we were kids, we used to have a game where we drew a bright chalk line across the street then "held" each end of the line as a car approached. This was all after dark.

Just as they were upon us, we would all yell "pull!" and pretend to haul off on the ends.

You should have seen some of the cars hitting their brakes!

Fastest (land) animal (moving under its own power) really still is the cheetah.

These falcons are actually birds (yeah, I know, technically in the animal phylum (you have to go all the way back to the synapsid reptile to find common ancestry between birds and mammals), but yeah, birds are in the animal kingdom as opposed to being a plant or fungus.

Technically, these falcons are simply letting gravity work for them as they just let themselves fall from the sky. A cheetah could go 180 mph too if you dropped him from up high enough.

If television has taught me anything it is that the fastest is a coyote with rocket skates and a rocket backpack

Leave it to a retard such as yourself to pollute a science thread with your asinine TDS.

Nah, terminal velocity is around 120mph. You have to work at it to go faster.

Well then maybe the cheetah can hit 180 on a warm day if someone shaves him, tapes a pointed cone to his face and ass and points him in the right direction and tells him to tuck in his feet and tail.

Only problem: the cheetah will not be able to pull out from the dive when he hits only 6 inches off from the ground! :SMILEW~130:

We’ve built airplanes that can move faster than the speed of sound. So I’d say man is the fastest animal on earth
