Ok, purely a hypothetical question, because the season is a long way off.

What if Saban leads the Crimson Tide to a BCS Championship in the 2013 season? Its not farfetched, as most of the skill players and the defense will return.

How does that effect the college football landscape?

Alabama's already established themselves as a dynasty. I would think they are the favorites to win again next year.

How do they affect college football next year? I don't know. People will probably continue to root for whatever amateur team they feel like they have a claim to.

So in that sense, Alabama will have zero impact on the college football landscape.
