Secretary Clinton will famously not debate Senator Sanders on FoxTV news(?). Likely now California ranking House members, Kevin McCarthy and Daryl Issa, may ask to show up instead(?)! There will be no top tier Republicans on the California ballot in November--Trump excepted--if still he is one, or thought to be one.

The California General Election in November will mainly be about Democrats--Clinton for President, and two female Democrats for U. S. Senator. Judging from campaign ads now, likely pictures of Donald Trump vomiting at a Gay Pride event will more likely be the GOP, fall campaign.. The Libertarian Party may actually be able to make gains in California in the fall. I vaguely remember Peace and Freedom Party. Sanders people have been trying get American Independent Party members on their side. McCarthy, Issa, and Trump likely expect AIP to be on their side--and maybe even set about recruiting them, too(?)!

California Republicans can no longer rely on Trump to get out the vote

Sanders and AIP makes sense, though the claim is that California Independents were actually misled. Sanders will not be on the California General Election, however. Trump will be, most likely on the ballot.

So who in California is likely to show up? Democrats, Libertarians, and AIP, most likely--the also easily able to be Called, "The Trump Factor," maybe thanks to Bernie.

(Lands of Many Nations create Tribal Councils--mainly expecting Tribe Members to show up! Not clear if New Yellow Hair even knows his own Tribe anymore, if any still claim him, anywhere!)

California?

What would it matter.

there's enough sheep there to keep it Blue for the next century

(Trump will likely have no national campaign money of his own. Even Democrats know where money comes from. The Major Contributors from out-of-state, not from California, are not appearing to sign on with the national campaign. That leaves far less than a major back-drop for the "down-ticket" elections, in all 50 of the States--that still have them(?)!

Among Democrats, we are blessed to know that Senator Sanders believes that only 19 states, nationwide, still have elections: And really they are caucuses. Those states attract the young and wannabe. One thing those states do not need in their fall elections is some whining really old suck, age 74, paranoid and. . . . .well: To boot! Some people do know the brand! (This aggravation, too: We do not need!)

Trump is not from California, drifts a lot in bankruptcy, more lawsuits than are filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, countless marriages, and multiple divorcement proceedings. Maybe now Her Majesty's kind of guy(?), it is not clear at just where he plans to get endorsements.

(Reagan Socialism took what federal deficit there was, and sent it all off to the already prosperous, defense contractors. Obama sent if off to the already prosperous, bureaucrats and public school teachers. Sanders wants to send it off to the public college faculty, excepting any regarded at all Schvartz. The outcome, so far, is the Donald Trump, nomination apparent. Some people got pissed off! Mostly, the Clintons are on record with the different kind of record. . .and maybe Al Gore(?). . .or however that is said(?)!)

When is the last time California voted Red?

1988?

It'll be blue long after you and I are gone

In fact, Silicon Valley is more or less actively opposing The Trumpenfuhrer--and based in major policy differences, wanting different outcomes. Notable about the appeal of the Four Times Bankrupt, Three Times Married, Twice Divorced, New Leader: The supporters don't seem to be among the top tier educated, or the highest level income households. The appeal seems to be to the. . .seriously, really. . .fu. .screwed up! The Sanders voters maybe are too young to remember, too much. . .or a generation with difficulties, even with that, when it comes to yesterday. And Already(?)! There are at least two distinct, outcast minorities, this time out(?)! There are on the one hand, the seriously. . . . .(?). And then on the other, there are the seriously. . . . .(?)!

We get it

Trump doesn't have a chance in California.

But then...

Romney didn't have a chance in California,
McCain didn't have a chance in California,
Bush didn't have a chance in California
Dole didn't have a chance in California,
Bush Sr didn't have a chance in California.

But they're still fair enough to ensconce a Republican as Governor! They've made that mistake enough times with Reagan, Wilson, and Schwarzenegger! They each hurt the state and inflated the deficits! Brown turned things around within a couple years and I applaud his efforts even though I moved away back in 2001! ;-/

People can visit this thread for proof of Einstein's Theory. "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

The Republicans presented too many options this time out, and one of seemed to be just like them. Trump is a seriously fu. . screwed up record on which to run, and with basis in expectations that generally don't pan out. Many actions are still in litigation. His supporters likely also found that expected outcomes were not panning out for them.

The Democrats presented three viable options, and two of them seemed to be just like one or another group of supporters. Clinton has created social progress not thought possible, over many years. That is like the Clinton Supporters, many of whom are not well-regarded by lots of people. Sanders could boldly claim the origin of a lot of social progress as his own. That is like the Sanders supporters--trending Socialist or Social Democrat That soon may be a possible new Democratic Party faction name. Sanders is clearly a lot like his supporters.

So neither Trump nor Sanders represent a majority faction. Both have a fan base, in electoral politics--a faction.

The problem with the Republicans is in the post of WillHaftaWaite above. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." That is actually about their majority establishment. It has far less credibility now than Secretary Clinton, or Senator Sanders, or Donald Trump.
