If these Al Queda thugs are for real, they would attack us this or next year and they would hit us where it hurts the most - in the wallet. If they destroy oil refineries or pipelines in the US and cripple our oil supply, our economy would be devastated for years. What are we doing to ensure this doesn't happen and if it does, what is our backup to make sure the flow of oil is not interrupted?

How do we know an attack is remotely possible? Every other report, it seems, from the Pentagon is that al qaeda is crippled. Then the next week, you hear they are rebuilding.
How do we ensure this doesn't happen? Invade Pakistan? Beef up the troop levels in Afghanistan? Reinstate the draft? I personally think those are all possible.

I cannot believe what I heard coming from one of FOXNEWS commentators; she said “we need to give Bush more credit for not having another attack on American soil by Al Qaeda . “ She is 100% spot on. Thanks to Bush Al Qaeda do not have to come here to attack us. They are attacking us every single day in Iraq and Afghanistan because Bush made is easier for them to attack us by our going to them. They have killed, since 9-11, over 4100 American troops, seriously wounded over 30 thousand and destroyed millions of lives and spending over a billion dollars a day and we are no closer to getting Osama than we were 7 years ago. Osama has hit us were it hurts, our economy which were always their intention. And killing Americans was just a benefit that goes with destroying our economy. They break us economically and they symbolically kill us. This war by Osama has brought us to our knees economically. They have succeeded and we have lost and we have also lost here at home.

We are losing the war against the illegal alien invasion and occupation, drug cartels, gangs who is destroying the American dream and children of illegal aliens who is destroying our education system. And where is Bush, somewhere sucking his thumb, same place he was when we were hit on 9-11.

And on top of all this, we elect another enabler—Barack Obama. He will do, with Clinton, Napolitano, Kennedy, Richardson and Reid attempt to resurrect Comprehensive Immigration Reform (amnesty) which we buried last year and is just more of the same by a different name. They want to keep those who are here and bring in more from Mexico at a time when we don’t have enough jobs for our own. By doing this we are taking Mexico’s labor force which further weaken Mexico and will eventually destroy both, Mexico and America.

Where is Mexico to turn except the drugs? We cannot give Mexico another dime to fight drugs because since our giving them financial help they have become bigger and stronger and they have spread into this country.

It does not matter who we have, Democrats or Republicans, it is still more of the same. And if we want real change we have to do it our selves by uniting as one. We do this and we save our country for a future for our children.
One more illegal alien in this country is one too many.

I thought Joe Biden said there would be a terrorist attack once Obama gets in office. He was probably told that in a super-secret staff meeting and the Gaff-King himself let it slip out by saying "Obama will be tested!" I'm guessing it'll happen again in New York City.

They may be for real, but their own fetish for symbolism does them in. On 9/11, they struck at symbols. WTC - symbol of US financial strength. The Pentagon - symbol of US military strength. Allegedly the White House - home of arguably the single most powerful man in the world.

You are absolutely correct. Had they chosen stratgic targets they could have crippled us bigtime.

What are we doing about it? Waiting to clean up afterward. If they did in fact strike our oil production facilities, you should have just watched the last hurricane that hit. We don't have a backup.
