Naw, the percentage of the population- mostly being middle class white people - who depend on government entitlements would riot when Nana doesn't get her social security and medicaid payment to her nursing home and she has to move in with them and her stinky diapers.

I understand your assertion but it's a pipe dream. It's akin to stating "what if Canada had civil liberties, Due Process, transparent and accountable covert apparatuses"? We are a century behind the rest of the West for a reason and you can bet it will not change. Ditto for 50% tax cuts in any country today.
