Because let's face it, there was no way that 1 in 4 high school students was not-heterosexual. It was a fad. Imagine, though, that this is your teenage fad. Not weird hair or clothes or music, but thinking you're "pansexual" or whatever.

About 1 in 4 high school students identifies as LGBTQ, according to a report the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released on Thursday, using data from 2021.

In 2021, 75.5 percent of high school students identified as heterosexual, the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS) found.

Among high school students, 12.2 percent identified as bisexual, 5.2 percent as questioning, 3.9 percent as other, 3.2 percent as gay or lesbian and 1.8 percent said they didn’t understand the question.

The CDC says the number of LGBTQ students went from 11 percent in 2015 to 26 percent in 2021.

That number is ridiculous, no way is that an accurate reflection of how kids really feel, these kids are young and confused anyway, and then we try and introduce all these different gender components into our biology and guess what? These confused kids become lost. Almost all of these 25% will grow out of this.

Woke should go broke before it breaks any more of these youth. This was an exercise in trying to change established science and it should justly be discarded as a bizarre phase in history that could still help future generations avoid repeating this type of insanity.

Biology is still undefeated.

A developmentally normal phase in early teenage years is having the "older mentor/hero". I found out a few years ago that young teens--12, 13, 14 yo--are going into counseling for this bc they think any affinity for anyone of their own gender makes them "bi". Like you have a bestie that's your own gender, who you would rather hang with at age 12 than "stupid boys"? Congrats, now you're bi.

It was so stupid for these kids. I hope it's over forever.

I admit to being a Judge Judy fan every once in a while .
She regularly comments on teenagers and correctly notes that when in contact with adults the teenage mutants only ever open their mouth to lie ,or eat and drink .

For the most part, no.

This was parents' worst fear, but not how it happened. Mostly the kids who "transitioned" are older and don't give a fig what the grown ups say. Being non-hetero became cool AMONG THEIR PEER GROUP and that's why they bought in.

The 25% figure is pure bunk. Most kids are going to go along with whatever makes them appear "woke", "cool", or "hip" to their peers. They should just go back to eating Tide Pods instead of acting like faggots.

I think by "open season" you just mean their special privileges are gone.

Few years ago we had a fifth grade student that "came out" as gay. They told everyone that they had a crush on another student and went around holding hands. Teacher called the higher ups because we DO NOT allow this stuff to fester at elementary. Ever. For any kids.

The district told the teacher there was nothing to do or say. So the teacher said, okay great, so if boy-girl pairs go around holding hands in elementary school, we're supposed to allow that too?

Crickets, of course.

Meaning that ADULTS are intentionally trying to encourage sexually deviant behavior in our children....the few we are having. Because this nation's live birth rate is insufficient to sustain our population numbers. Add in all this new LGBTQ behavior and we will dissappear in a single generation.

A few adults groomed, sure. The older the kids, the weaker the influence on adults. It caught on among the KIDS, which is why 25% of them ended up identifying as "non-hetero"

It didn't catch on with kids bc teachers were pushing it. Teachers are not that cool (trust me). It was more media and celebrity influence

Nah, they can still be as open as they want to be. Teachers won't be targeting anyone for harassment. If a teacher tells them to tone things down a bit, no matter boy-boy or boy-girl, that should be within the guidelines of being an supervisory adult. I think it is good we don't confuse kids any more than they already are.

Additionally, "identifying" students with "mental health issues" does not give the district the money that the district must now spend. IOW it's not a cost saver. Special needs students of any stripe are expensive.
