No one truly knows what happens to us after biological death. It's possible that we cease to exist and it's also possible that we don't, by some other mechanism or means which we haven't yet discovered through our present science and technology. The paranormal is real, that can easily be proven, as I've already showed on this thread. Questions like "what occurs after bodily death" are unanswerable at the moment, remaining a mystery, until we can reasonably answer it, with some substantial, scientifically established evidence.
