Gomez was on 3rd base when he was ejected from the Brewers-Pirates game, right?

Was he replaced by someone?

Did the Brewers simply lose the scoring opportunity?

Was an out recorded for him?

I didn't see the game (obviously), just read about the skirmish, and am curious what happens in a case like that.
