What happened to liberals pushing gun control?

What happened to liberals pushing gun control?

At one point, they pushed it rather strongly. Nowadays its hardly ever brought up.

If the anti-gun crowd is so right, if their argument is so sound – why pull back from the issue?

Well, as the wife of a gun owning lib whose son takes trap shooting lessons with his dad, I think the answer is...

THE COURT DECIDED THE ISSUE. Not a lot to discuss.

D'uh.

all cars can kill people too, and we regulate those :clap2:
As I have noted previously, I am -all- for treating guns just like we do cars.
You, likely, are not.
That's responsible.
Cool.:clap2:
I'm glad you like it!
:clap2:

Remember:
-You do not need a license to own a car.
-You do not need a license to drive a car on private property.
-You do not need a license to transport a car on public property.
-You only need a license to drive a car on public property.
-You do not need to register a car to own it.
-You do not need to register a car to drive it on private property
-You do not need to register a car to transport it on public property.
-You only need to register a car to drive it on prublic property.

So...

To treat guns like cars, the only licenseing and registration requirement would be for those used on public property.

Isn't this turning out a bit like the Emperor's Clothes? The OP is finding out that the "They are Going to Take our Guns!" mantra was fantasy all along?

Ya think? Didn't we learn of a man in New Jersey who is spending 7 years in prison because he had unloaded, broken down guns in the trunk of his car?

I think we did.
