Most don't like to acknowledge how cutting edge and Progressive the Nazi regime was.
Their eugenical crimes were, in fact, fueled by scientists in the US who were sold on eugenics and convinced that blacks were inferior eugenically. In fact, one of the books written by US scientists Hitler called his Bible as they wrote about eugenics. Hitler thought his actions logical because he followed the cutting edge of science of his day and all others were moral idiots who were superstitious and religious.
The Nazi regime were also obsessed with the environment and animal rights and the poor. Hitler ordered his army to plant trees, they were also the first Europeans to establish nature reserves and order the protection of hedgerows and other wildlife habitats. They were horrified at the thought of hydroelectric dams on the Rhine, and Hitler was a vegetarian because he thought eating the flesh of innocent animals was cruel. Herman Goring, Hitler's right hand man, said, "Unbearable torture and suffering in animal experiments and those who still think they can treat animals as inanimate property will be sent off to concentration camps!"
Hitler also declared, "This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!"
And tell me who this sounds like in the DNC when it was actually Hitler who said it. "We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseeming evaluation of a human being according to wealth and prosperity instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy their system under all conditions."
Hitler was a cutting edge socialist who believed that experts in private industry should keep their positions because they were the experts, so why have idiot bureaucrats try and run industry when they can't even run government effectively? Hitler said, "Why nationalize industry when you can nationalize the people?" Hitler understood that so long as he had full control over industry, which he did, they could keep their positions and serve him. And this is how socialists of today do things as well.
And Hitler got off the gold standard long before the Progressives did in the US in the 1970's. Hitler said, "Gold is not necessary, I have no interest in gold. We will build a solid state, without an ounce of gold behind it"
Essentially, Hitler spent ungodly sums of money toward two things, the military and social programs. For you see, Hitler was worried of uprising during the war that occurred during WW 1. So he saw to it that their standard of living was kept well above those in the US, well until the very end of the war. And looking at the US today, that is where all their spending goes as well.
So there you have it. The Nazi regime showed Progressives they way as they all follow it, knowingly or unknowingly, they are all fans.
