What Fashion Trend Have You Skipped?

fbj's post on Crocs made me think of this: what fashion trends have you skipped or embraced?

A few years ago the cold shoulder top became very popular. It looked okay on other women but I never bought one--I'm trying to stay warm over here, not have to put a sweater on over my top because my shoulders are cold.

However, I loved the puffed sleeve trend and jumped on it immediately. I'm small so I can pull it off and it's flattering on me. Not the smocking though--that's for the younger set.

8-10 years ago we all looked like this lol. In retrospect, the boots were WAY too "tall" for me and the scarves were too big too. Should never have given in to this trend. I still have a whole lot of those big scarves.

The waterfall cardigan. Super popular for about two years or so. I wore them, then one day looked at them and hated them. Happens sometimes

I went to an army disposal store years ago and bought a dozen or so ex-airforce T-shirts.

Then a couple of years ago........................

No logos on mine.

Remember the shoes that were popular in the mid to late 90s named Air Walks? I wore them during my first three years of high school.

P.S. The only bad thing about those shoes is that when it rained, the coloring of the shoes would stain whatever socks I had on inside.
