What do you want Trump to do?

According to the CATO institute more criminal immigrants were released from custody under Trump than Biden. Almost twice as much.
Trump wanted resources directed at mass deportation. He relied on ICE to track down the criminal aliens.
Gas and oil is production has already been at it's highest point in not only our history but in the world.
And it still doesn't satisfy global demand, thus high prices remain.
Tax cuts will be renewed but spending will skyrocket, just like it was in Trump's first term.
Probably.
The president doesn't control crime in each individual state. Federal prisons house white collar criminals, which no one is asking for more of.
Drug trafficking across state lines make it a Federal crime.
War on drugs? Could work. It's not like this hasn't been tried before and failed miserably.
Detaining addicts and users has never been tried. They are considered to be victims even though they provide all the money for the drug trade as well as committing many crimes to fund their addictions. They also place heavy burdens on hospitals and social services; over a million visits to the emergency departments per year for overdoses.

Which is precisely why Trump won't be able to a damn thing about the price of gas.

But does building more federal prisons actually address crime? No one who currently traffics drugs is being let go because we don't have enough federal prisons to house them.

Trump has said during his campaign he is against arrest and incarceration of people who have small amounts of weed. lol

Lots of dealers only carry "a small amount" of the drugs they are selling so in case they are caught they will be considered a user not a dealer.

Drugs and alcohol are entwined with crime in America and must be considered seriously. Nearly every day a drunk driver with multiple DUI arrests kills someone with their vehicle.

I'll go first.

Secure the border using the military. Deport the criminals but leave legal workers. Rewrite the immigration laws to limit those seeking citizenship. We need the workers but not more citizens.

Limit remittances.

Increase oil and gas production to lower energy costs. This will reduce costs of everything.

Renew the tax cuts and limit spending.

Address crime more vigorously. Build more federal prisons if necessary. Support the death penalty and longer sentences. Oppose legalization of any drugs. Hold users and addicts responsible for funding the illegal drug trade. Incarcerate addicts in secure treatment facilities for long-term treatment.

This would be a good start.
President Trump has a good approach to fix major issues, and he should be allowed to prioritize what he knows the American people would benefit most from. I noticed that early on.

Play golf and eat hamberders

1) make it so that workers leave the workforce and retire at an earlier age than 60
2) increase wages
3) get gas at about $1.50 by year 2
4) fix the border
5) strengthen social security and medicare
Lotsa luck

I figure to be gracious as possible until he deserves to be spoken of differently, based on actions and words.

donny has never maintained being 'gracious' for more than a NY minute.

for decades. he will never change. full stop.

Agreed, but it costs me nothing, to not bitch about what he is doing until he does it. It benefits me not, to predict negative things he might do. Whether anybody likes it or not, he won by a significant margin, making large inroads it to demographic groups that usually supported Dem, by margins not seen by Presidents in this century. This was done, with the full knowledge of most of the evidence of his actions, and even convictions of the crimes in his past, taking them into account. Like a jury, the electorate came to a judgement. That judgement was mind over matter. For the majority of those that voted, they did not mind so his deeds and crimes did not matter, so, they elected him President of the United States. The least people can do is wait until they are injured anew, to bother with attack or counter-attack. That is just a pragmatic conservative opinion.

i understand that upwards of 15,000,000 people stayed away this time around, as opposed to 2020.

the #1 trending search recently AFTER the election was : what is a tarriff?

donny loves the poorly educated. always has. that's why he can rip you off as he has shown over & over again.

past behavior dictates future expectations, then one can plan ahead. that is also a conservative slant.

I would not be terribly surprise, but would actually love to see the search stat on: What is a tariff? Very funny, though.:auiqs.jpg:

It's different, alright, least from how I was raised. Mahar actually makes more sense than a lot of people, much of the time. On that last quote, you realize he probably meant, Trump ran a successful race against Biden, though Harris lost at the poles?
