It is the benefit of being Independent. I get to look at individual issues, individually, as I do not owe support to a tribe. My history has always been, that I support the country, as I see fit.

Yeah, it is just that most Independents I know are socially liberal with a modicum of fiscal sense, which is why they are on the fence. Your stance on Israel, which I happen to agree with, threw me a curve ball. Jewish Democrats aside, most socially liberal voters are anti-Israel. That is easy to discern from the posts on this board.

Other than that, the rest are siding with the Palestinians - and even defending HAMAS terrorists - while many are just spewing virrulent antidemitic bile.

It’s been pretty hard to be a Jew in a liberal area, such as where I am. We have armed security at shul, a friend of mine had to walk by Arabs chanting “Death to Jews!”, and another was taunted as she was picking out Chanukah decorations.

When they were losing the yom kippur war they threatened to bomb the American oil facilities in Arabia. Arabia was not involved in that war.

Iran only has five oil refineries. Israel's first step should be to destroy all five. If that doesn't make Iran pull in its horns, use deep penetrators to destroy Iran's nuclear sites. With its two massive missile strikes, Iran has opened a direct war with Isarael and Israel should forcibly respond to cause Iran as much economic and social pain as it can.

But, if you do not have professionals, you trust with their Hippocratic Oath, to help recommend specialist professionals, that with higher specific skills or knowledge, that honor their oath, plus willing to actually research/study your situation, you can be like the city masses, with no relation to the professionals involved. You can end up like Michael Jackson, or Matthew Perry.
