I used to have a Global Territory. Sometimes I'd be gone 30-60 days. People always said "How lucky you are". No. There were days you'd wake up and not remember where you were.

During the cell phone boom I was contracted to pour the foundations for a shitload of communications towers. So I was working out of town for extended periods of time.

What I miss most is the Solitude. If I’m on an extended trip it’s likely some sort of social event, which I prefer to avoid. At home I can get away from everything and everything.
