What are some of your favorite songs by Bob Dylan?

My favorites include "Like A Rolling Stone", "Maggie's Farm", "Lay Lady Lay" and "Thunder On The Mountain".
/----/ Thanks for asking. I'm 74, and remember him well. But I never liked Dylan's songs or nasal voice. I recognize him as being very successful and influential, but it's just not my style of music.
As a side note, he and I worked for the same pharmaceutical company, Westwood, but we never met. He was on the West Coast; I was in NY. One day he was leading a protest when he should have been at work. His sales manager saw him on the 6 o'clock news, was outraged because he was not calling on his accounts, and called him and fired him.

Dylan wrote the song with this man in mind,

When Dylan wrote the song, Carter had not yet been freed from prison. Carter was found guilty in 1966, and Dylan released the song in 1975. Carter was later freed from prison, and the trial was overturned, labeled “unfair”, in 1985. He had served 20 years in prison before he was released.

Naturally, during Carter’s incarceration, plenty of protestors did

What a question! There are so many answers. First one must realize that Bob Dylan's sings are VERY diverse. Some are about love, some about social & political things, some are comical, some are brash, some are beautiful.

No matter the type, all are lyrical works of art, if not masterpieces.
