Whitetail deer fascinate me.

And bobcats.

I wish we had cougars to watch.

And, after many years of working with raptors, I'm still fascinated by them.

Fascinates me and feel connected to are two totally different answers. I feel connected to dogs but they do not fascinate me often. I guess I am most fascinated by toads.

Birds. Whenever we're in the pet store I head straight for the birds and start singing (whistling) to them. I can do good imitations of a cardinal, mourning dove, owl, and a few others. One time I heard a mockingbird and was trying to replicate the various calls. I think it kinda messed with its head LOL.

I am attracted to elephants. They are amazing creatures. And of course, I love dogs. But outside of the "normal" pet thing....it would have to be the elephant. And ants. I can watch ants do their thang, all day.
