There were many various social commentary movies in the 70s/80s,

Were you a "groupie" for any of the social commentary movies of this era?

Here's just a few I know about................

I was into TRHPS for a while, but then got bored.

A precursor to whats really going on today..........

Just because you "make it", doesn't mean you're happy

99% were females that followed rock bands, the other 1% were likely gay men....

I can see a lot of far left democrats today having grown up as "groupies" of stupid shit years ago. Wokism is the new star they've hitched their wagons to.

Godspell was all the go at Youth Groups back then, but the movie to me was, well, not much chop; but I really liked some of the songs...particularly this one.

Was "into" Monty Python; the Holy Grail and Life of Brian" as they were FUNNY..................but not really groupie I don't think.

I saw a midnight showing of Rocky horror at the 8th Street playhouse with my big titty Jewish girlfriend as a teenager
We were tripping f****** hard

I have no idea if they still do it but they used to do it with live actors and props as the movie was playing

Young Einstein was popular down here:

The Soundtrack really made it!!

The actual movie was OPK but...well.....not quite Casablanca....

Really!!! I saw Rocky Horror at a midnight showing at a movie theater on 8th Street in a city I'm sure is far away from where you are.

I remember watching "The Wall" when it first was released, and the enduring memory from that evening was a couple empty beer bottles rolling down the aisle.
