Just bought a WEN biscuit slotter for a coffee table I'm making. A video on these tools recommended not buying the most expensive one for starters. This WEN cost $51, as the cheapest one I could find on Amazon. As the reviews were very good I bought it. I put it to the test this morning and it performs great. Easy to adjust and use. Perfect cuts, sample pieces join up perfectly level.
Several reviews complained about chips clogging up the exhaust chute, likely because of plunging the blade too fast. It comes with a plastic extension tube that holds a dust bag. I discard it, cut the tube down to fit my shop vacuum, and it performs dust free, no clogging. I highly recommend this tool for price and performance.
