Well, I failed to account for the stupidity of the masses

Musk was talking about temporary hardships related to spending cuts. You do understand the US has crushing deficits, right?
Actually I'm all in for temporary hardship. We gotta pay our own bills, not keep on raking up charges on our kids credit card.

Damn. For people outraged over high prices...you folks sure seem fine with even HIGHER prices.

odd
Damn, you missed the part about Bidenflation being the result of policies that were foolish and discriminatory to Americans.

You haven't exactly been hitting it out of the park, with your predictions lately... Just sayin'...
Hey. I’m pointing out what Musk has said and these Trumpers are fine with it

Go figure

Policies that Trump also engaged in.

Whatever. Past history.

Going forward Musk is saying he’s going to inflict economic hardship

All good right?

It was women and minorities that pushed Trump over the top.

Now you are calling them stupid?

🤔

Remember, if they ball you out because you didn't vote for a black woman, they are voting for a black woman only!!! Policy didn't matter to them, makes them the most misogynist and racist people in the country.

Trump did not import millions of illegals or defend the New Green Boondoggle, both drivers of deficits and inflation.

Economic hardship for bloated, ineffective government agencies, all good.

You would offer nothing to address deficit spending. It can't go on forever.
You prefer to do nothing.

It's just that simple.

This county is dumber than I thought it was.

In fact, dumber than I thought possible.

You idiots elected somebody who is planning to crash the economy.

Enjoy your poverty and hatred.
I believe that Trump's economic policies, especially his efforts to exchange income taxes for tariffs, will harm most Americans, including the poorly educated angry white men he pretends to love. I also believe that Trump is delusional enough to believe that most Americans will benefit from his policies.

As stupid and ignorant as Trump is, he knows that if the economy really crashes during his term - imagine an inflationary recession like the one of 1974, only worse - he will be blamed, and the Republican Party will be seriously damaged.

The national debt only became a problem when Reagan cut the top tax rate from 70% to 28%, while raising military spending. Global warming is caused by human behavior, it is an existential problem, and it requires massive government action, like the Green New Deal.

I agree that the Democrats were wrong in allowing increases in illegal and legal immigration.

The national debt is a result of both political parties spending beyond the means of taxpayers. The Green New Boondoggle is a farce. Provide some data showing what that spending has accomplished, like eight EV charging stations?

Trump did actually “import millions of illegals”

There is no Green New Deal. You’re jousting at windmills there

But interesting that you seem to want economic hardship

We will likely get it

Not surprisingly, you're reduced to floating conspiracy theories.

Got the quote from Musk?

The rich have plenty of money. All we need to do is to direct the government to take most of it from them.

The Green New Deal has not been through enough to achieve much. it is easier to prove that man made global warming is an existential problem.

Climate Change: Global Temperature

By Rebecca Lindsey AND LuAnn Dahlman Reviewed By Jessica Blunden
Published January 18, 2024

Highlights

  • Earth’s temperature has risen by an average of 0.11° Fahrenheit (0.06° Celsius) per decade since 1850, or about 2° F in total.
    • The rate of warming since 1982 is more than three times as fast: 0.36° F (0.20° C) per decade.
  • 2023 was the warmest year since global records began in 1850 by a wide margin.
    • It was 2.12 °F (1.18 °C) above the 20th-century average of 57.0°F (13.9°C).
    • It was 2.43 °F (1.35 °C) above the pre-industrial average (1850-1900).
  • The 10 warmest years in the historical record have all occurred in the past decade (2014-2023).

Climate Change: Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide

By Rebecca Lindsey Reviewed By Ed Dlugokencky
Published April 9, 2024

  • Each year, human activities release more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than natural processes can remove, causing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to increase.
  • The global average carbon dioxide set a new record high in 2023: 419.3 parts per million.
  • Atmospheric carbon dioxide is now 50 percent higher than it was before the Industrial Revolution.
  • The annual rate of increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide over the past 60 years is about 100 times faster than previous natural increases, such as those that occurred at the end of the last ice age 11,000-17,000 years ago.
  • The ocean has absorbed enough carbon dioxide to lower its pH by 0.1 units, a 30% increase in acidity.
