Best to have such things bookmarked on your phone, since home internet often goes off with the power. When AT&T gave me a new router, they took away the battery backup and didn't replace it.

if your home phone still works during the power outage, a family member in another state or city can check the Down Dectector website for you and tell you what is going on with the power on a call with your home phone.
