I will start with these, I can add more if you like, but my intention is not to besmirch Biden, it is to show how these presidents use a crisis to move their agendas forward, and all do.

The administration relied on emergency powers tied to the HEROES Act of 2003 (a post-9/11 law) to justify broad student loan forgiveness, arguing COVID-19 created a national emergency. Which the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional.

During COVID, Biden extended (before later trying to end) Title 42 authority, which allowed quick expulsions of migrants on public health grounds. This is another example of using a crisis justification for broad authority.

Biden has declared climate change a “crisis” to justify executive actions, such as pausing oil and gas leases or directing federal agencies to push green energy, sidestepping Congress.

He used emergency authority to mandate vaccines for federal workers, contractors, and companies with 100+ employees. Fortunately the courts shot this bull crap down. He also used the Covid crisis to push through the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, arguing it was necessary to stabilize the economy.

I found Kirk to be a person who wanted and respected dialogue and the exchange of ideas, something I fully support and believe as he did, that exchanging, understanding and sharing ideas and ideals that we can all be friends, all be humans and not hate those we disagree with especially politics. He also said he believes it's impossible without pushing back on left-leaning individuals and groups that he described as being more supportive and condoning of political violence.

"When you see someone celebrating Charlie's murder, call them out," Vance added. "And, hell, call their employer. We don't believe in political violence, but we do believe in civility, and there is no civility in the celebration of political assassination."

You know what...you on the left keep trying to pretend that it's the right that is extreme and violent but reality doesn't bear that out. There are no violent protests. Cities aren't being burned. Highways aren't being blockaded. We will go after those of you on the left that use violence against people who have a different political view from yours but we'll do it legally...through the courts.
