Example: Clearly their was a significant intelligence flaw that allowed 9/11 to occur. I was hopeful that the Patriot Act would close that intelligence gap but as so often happens, it has been turned on the wrong people: our own.
The Iraq War ... I had my doubts. Serious doubts. But had to trust the President, his Secretary of State, etc. that Hussein had Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Apparently he didn't, although there are rumors to this day that they were moved to Syria or something.
Whatever. The Iraq War went on far too long, obviously, and rejiggered the entire region and probably not for the better.
But America can't constantly be paralyzed and crippled by past mistakes to never take on evil in the future.
