We desperately need a modern Pinochet in the US, Trump isn't good enough.

. But in my opinion the army of our Republic is still far from ready to take measures like those our government certainly encouraged Pinochet to take in Chile.

So you will have to admit that Pinochet was an American ally.

Allende, however, led a party with the following in its manifesto.

"-The Socialist Party embodies Marxism, enriched by scientific and social progress.

-The Capitalist exploitation based on the doctrine of private property regarding land, industry, resource, and transportation, necessarily must be replaced by an economically socialist state in which said private property be transformed into collective.

-During the process of total transformation of the system of government, a representative revolutionary government of the manual and intellectual labourers' class is necessary. The new socialist state only can be born of the initiative and the revolutionary action of the proletariat masses.

-The socialist doctrine is of an international character and requires the support of all the workers of the world. The Socialist Party will support their revolutionary goals in economics and politics across Latin America in order to pursue a vision of a Confederacy of the Socialist Republics of the Continent, the first step toward the World Socialist Confederation."

bripat9643, Muhammed and Pete7469 are by no means Conservative anomalies. U.S. Republican (and many Democratic Party Cold Warriors too) connived with and supported Pinochet’s brutal coup and long-running dictatorship. What is new is that now voices are emerging among populist U.S. right-wing authoritarians to bring such dictatorial “anti-communism” to the U.S.

Of course these three are weak-minded and utterly deluded nobodies. Whether similar voices will one day be heard in the halls of the Pentagon itself is a more troubling question. The U.S. may be acting as a Banana Republic at the moment. It’s people may be almost as deluded as those in an Orwellian state. But in my opinion the army of our Republic is still far from ready to take measures like those we certainly encouraged Pinochet to take in Chile.
We'll get past this. The only question is how much repair will be required.

Nahh...you wont get away with it. The only question is how nasty it will be for you in the end.
just label him a commie and/or terrorist then you can justify burning him alive. it is only common sense, eh?
Most communists are mass murdering thugs, so killing them is justified. The ones in Chile were trying to overthrow the government and install a Stalinist police state, so they all deserved killing.
you have already established that you are a FAT dumbass with no redeeming characteristics. no need for you to queef more.

Defending murderous commies isn't a "redeeming characteristic." It's proof that you're Stalinist pig.

We don't need a murderous twat to become president for the good of the nation. What we really need is the blind partisans to forsake their unwavering allegiance to the duopoly and stop painting anyone outside their clique as snarling enemies instead of fellow Americans.

Fuckin A bro.... I totally agree...

The fact is we are going to get a Stalin who wipes out hundreds of millions around the world, or if we play our cards right a Pinochet that throws a few thousand criminal sociopaths from helicopters. This peaceful shit won' last forever, I'm just interested in keeping the casualty numbers as low as possible.

Those who think that by copying a list of coups and coup attempts in Chile they prove something about Chilean history are as stupid as those who think they can describe the U.S. as a “free country” since 1776 —without any reference to slavery and the civil war. I don’t really care to go into Chilean history at length here, but suffice it to say that the norm in Chile was for it to be run as a Constitutional or Presidential Republic since the independence civil wars ended in the early 19th century. For 42 years before Pinochet’s coup the military had not directly intervened in the nation’s governance. Of course that was partly because most of that time conservative government coalitions of ruling elites in fact governed the country in accord with the powerful Catholic Church, through regular elections. The myth that the military would always respect constitutional elections was widespread before the coup. As a result, when Allende increased his support from 36% to 44% of the vote in the 1973 Parliamentary Elections, many thought the government was safer than ever from a coup. Of course the military was still tied by a thousand strings to the country’s conservative elites, the Church and U.S. imperialism, and in fact General Pinochet took Allende’s electoral gains as a sign it was time to overthrow Chilean democracy and the Constitution once and for all.

Those who see Allende as a “Stalin,” or who call today’s Democratic Party “communist,” are not just fools. They are not just ignorant of history and oblivious of reality. They are pushing to turn our own representative Constitutional Republic ... into a dictatorial Banana Republic.

The left is DESPERATE to disarm us, if you believe it's because they care about "public safety", kill yourself with aspirin tonight. You'll sleep better.

We literally enjoyed over 3 years of being able to find jobs we liked more than the ones we blew off to going back to that stagnation and malaise the meat puppet deliberately "created".

STOP entertaining the bed wetters. Defeat them in November.
Pinochet was responsible for killing thousands of Chileans and torturing countless others! It was basically martial law for the longest time. Is that really what you're asking for?

The snarling enemies of America are on the inside already.

"Constitutional elections" brought many a dictator to power.

What we could do instead would be to elect a man who opposes the liberals and turns America back to greatness and imagine that in a "constitutional republic" our desires would be respected.

Oh wait...

When Allende got himself elected, it was the Cuban military that started interfering in the nation's government, moron. Commie douchebags like you keep trying to pain Allende as some angel who supported democracy when the fact is that he was a criminal who was undermining Chile's democracy. He allowed leftists mobs to run wild in the streets. He expropriated private property, and he hired hundreds of Cuban mercenaries to enforce his dictatorial rule. The legislature and the people asked Pinochet to intervene and evict this Marxist criminal. Allende increased his results only with a massive intimidation campaign the likes of which we have recently observed in Venezuela.

The stuff you're spewing sounds exactly like the kind of Marxist tripe that the communist who tried to convert Chile to a Soviet client state were spouting.

And I mean exactly.

There is a general contraction of the size of vocabulary used by those who choose to confine their attention to a smaller and smaller circle of "news" and "information". Add to that the intellectual laziness that permeates that same group, and you have a significant portion of our populace that would ultimately be reduced to a series general grunts and guttural noises if their current trajectory remains on course.

:)

I don't want leftwingers to be killed. I just want them all to lose their government jobs.

I never respond directly to people who stick their middle finger into the air, or who lie shamelessly about history.

I simply note that two of the three Presidents who have ruled Chile since the year 2000 were “socialists,” both forced into exile by Pinochet when they were young.

Wrong, asshole. They have a very keen understanding of history and reality. Those who whitewash Allende's crimes are no better than thugs. They are the kind of people that sent Cuba and Venezuela swirling down the Marxist toilet bowl. They made the Gulags and firings squads possible.

Desperately...

Do you even care to know why bed wetter?

I'll tell you anyway...

When Pinochet killed those few thousand marxist sociopaths he saved the lives of millions of people who would have resisted having their businesses and property taken over by government.

Killing one commie saves 1000 innocent lives. That's just a CDC statistic from before the obozo administration..

It's the reason I stand outside Planned Unparentood clinics and thank the whores for disposing if genetic waste properly.

It's too bad for Chile that they didn't stay in exile. They are probably both a couple of Marxist thugs who have dozens of buddies who were Cuban mercenaries. Commies often change their image later in life and become "social democrats."

You don't respond directly to people who know what you're about because you're a coward. You're pumping out intellectual sewage and promoting the police state.

No one is fooled.
