I think it begins at home, whatever that may be, establishing the moral attitudes and perception from family and friends. It could be better in all homes and needs family that recognizes success as well as failures to promote learning. The worst thing a parent can do is to be a buddy or a lawyer to the kids, right or wrong. I also think that if you are raised to believe you are always the victim, whatever you do in life that causes problems for others is justified because of the "way it is". These girls actually believe that they were the victims here, and when the whole tribe showed up, again told them it was racist, nothing to be learned here except maybe a big payout, carry on. I think we all could do better, and we need to, but where do we start?
